If only we could nudge away government.

It's interesting to note that the Nudge Units in both the UK and US cited obesity prevention as their biggest success stories and rationale for creating and expanding them in the first place. When you look at the rapid adoption of state and local behavioral health programs the same obesity prevention benefits have always been front and center in the selling points of manipulating perspectives and beliefs through deception and choice architecture behaviorism.

The field of Bioethics is inexorably linked to Behavioral Science. The ethics of coercive and manipulative public health policy that involves deception and the removal of free choice from citizens. For a declared collective health greater good.

This 225-page guide from the Nuffield Bioethics Council was created in November, 2007. Covering obesity, infectious disease, water fluoridation, etc. It's an example of the pretzel logic these practitioners of manipulation and control rationalize and justify totalitarianism. Patting themselves on their backs for practicing such good "stewardship" of the lowly, pathetic, ignorant selfish masses. Who should be grateful for the benevolent protection of such wise and caring betters.

Note: Nuffield Bioethics Council is funded by Wellcome Trust (Glaxo-Wellcome), peer influencer of The Gates Foundation. Who's head, Jeremy Farrar, resigned in protest from the SAGE SPI-B pandemic policy advisory group for it's policies not being totalitarian enough. Who just became the World Health Organization's Chief Scientist. Joining another SPI-B leader, Susan Mitchie, also recently named the Chief Behavioral Scientist at the WHO. A self-declared Marxist who was kicked out of the UK's communist party for being too extreme for their tastes.

Behavioral Science truly is the "science of totalitarianism" as your book "State of Fear" quotes a former member of the SPI-B.

Behavioural Science is how our self-imagined betters plan to make us happy owning nothing and eating bugs - great obesity prevention using choice architecture methods, right?

What horrifies me, as a mum of 3 young girls, is the food given to kids. I cook everything from scratch - simple stuff, but most people have lost the habit. One mum couldn’t believe it, literally, when she said “I mean we all pull out a pack of fish fingers and frozen chips sometimes don’t we?” - and I said quietly, “er, no.” If there’s not much time I’ll do a quick pasta puttanesca, scrambled eggs, jacket potato with tuna, roasted veg with couscous, everything wholemeal/sourdough... it’s not hard but I seem to be alone doing this round here! At school the sugar content in the puddings alone is sky-high, never mind the “treat” sweets they get for doing well. Then there are the birthday parties every weekend: fruit shoots, cheese straws, packets and packets of sweets... When family or friends visit they bring...sweets for the kids (I stick those in a tin). And don’t get me started on portion sizes and contents of kids meals or lunchboxes in restaurants... The culture is saturated with unhealthy habits.

On the subject of Nudge, this is an important book that describes in great detail how "Nudge," narrative science, social and behavioral science has been integrated into natural sciences to advance the climate change fear porn for population control. Climatology and meteorology distorted like medical science has been distorted since pandemic, health nutrition guidelines have been distorted. A coordinated assault on the public mind for ulterior agendas. They even call it "The Weather Enterprise - The “weather enterprise” includes the network of government agencies, private-sector companies, and academic institutions that provide weather services to the nation."

You'll even find infamous propaganda specialist Kate Starbird listed in it as a contributor. It further details how they use the Centers for Disease Control (CDC) to advance climate fear porn propaganda with health regulatory powers. As well as a collection of all of the centers of power that are coordinating and collaborating with this massive psychological mind-farkery operation:

While it's a US work product no doubt the UK has its own version. I've seen no better single resource to putting together their operational plan and strategies in one place than this book. For those who wish to do a very deep dive. A 182-page exercise describing the imposition of stupidity masquerading as intelligence and enlightened thought on an unwitting nation. By reading the plans of our adversaries we become more capable of defeating them. And with your connections in the UK's social and behavioral science community you made while writing 'State of Fear' I'm curious what they'd have to say about this book?
